Built in 1952, by Pacific Coast Engineering of Alameda, California (hull #149) as the Sea Rover for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the LMW Investment Company of San Diego, California. Where she was renamed as the Commodore.

In 2008, she went out of documentation. Her current, and, or final disposition is unknown.
