Built in 2015, by Conrad Industries Incorporated of Orange, Texas (hull #1079) as the Jake Shearer for Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington.
The tug is named for Jake Shearer, who passed away in his early twenties after being diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia. Fanconi Anemia, is a rare genetic disease thatcauses bone marrow failure. And, effects the development of healthy blood cells.
In 2019, Harley Marine Services Incorporated became the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.
Powered by two, Tier III compliant, GE L250 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 1563 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.746:1. Turning two, 116(in) pitch, by 110(in) diameter, four bladed, fixed pitch, stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 4,070 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, John Deere 6068TFM 363OSL1607 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 100,000 gallons of fuel.
