SCF CONTAINER EXPRESS

Built in 2013, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #441) as the Eugenie Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2019, the Cenac Towing Company was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2020, the tug was acquired by SCF Waxler Transportation Incorporated of St. Rose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the SCF Container Express.

Powered by three, Cummins QSK 19 diesel engines. With well mounted ZF WM5000 z-drives. The engines are set on the main deck level of the 11-foot molded depth hull, to give the boat an operating draft of ten feet which includes the one-foot plate keel that helps protect the z-drives. She is rated at 3,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided two, 65kW, generator sets. The tug's capacities are 28,478 gallons of fuel, 454 gallons of lube oil, and 14,758 gallons of water.
