YT-813 "SENTINEL"

Built in 2022, by Dakota Creek Industries of Anacortes, Washington (hull #70) as the YT-813 (Sentinel) for the United States Navy.

She is the twelfth Valiant class tractor tug, designed by the Naval Architecture firm Robert Allen Limited of Vancouver, British Columbia for the United States Navy. The design is a variation Robert Allen's existing Z-Tech 6000 commercial tractor tug design.

Powered by two, Tier IV compliant, Caterpillar 3512E diesel engines, with Twin Disc MCD 3000-5-HD slipping clutches and two, Schottel SRP 340 z drives. She is a twin screw tug rated 3,620 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 154kW, John Deere 6068AFM85 generator sets.

The towing equipment consists of a JonRie Series 210 hydraulic winch, mounted on the bow.
