HOOPER BAY

Built in 1981, by Allied Shiyard Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana (hull #158) as the Hooper Bay for Alaska Marine Towing Incorporated, an affiliate of the Marine Power and Equipment Company of Seattle, Washington.

In 1990, the tug was acquired by the Arctic Tug and Barge Company Incorporated of Anchorage, Alaska. Where she retained her name.

In 1995, she was acquired by the Manson Construction Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug was renamed as the Wollochet.

She is a triple screw tug, rated at 1,450 horsepower.
