Built in 1995, by Moss Point Marine Incorporated of Escatawpa, Mississippi (hull #C126) as the J. George Betz for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York.

In 2010, she was retrofitted with an INTERcon coupler system. Retrofitting of the tug was performed and completed at Bollinger Shipyard Incorporated of Algiers, Louisiana. Her towing equipment was retained to allow for traditional towing.

In 2020, the tug was placed out of active service and was "laid up" at Staten Island, New York.

In 2021, the unit was acquired by the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the William F. Fallon Jr.

Named for William F. Fallon Jr. who was a general manager at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey who worked on the 62nd floor of One World Trade Center and perished in the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks one the Wold Trade Center while assisting and directing his fellow workers to safety.

William Fallon served as strategic analysis and industry relations in the Port Authority's Port Commerce Department. Mr. Fallon had a wide range of maritime-related responsibilities, from sales and customer service to managing the agency's international offices in London, Hong Kong and Seoul, South Korea.

Powered by two, EMD 16-645-F7B diesel engines. Turning two bronze, fixed pitch, propellers. She is a twin screw tug rated at 6,140 horsepower.

The tug's capacities are 159,824 gallons of fuel, and 8,453 gallons of potable water.
