Built in 1979, by Halter Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #835) as the Marion C. Bouchard for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York.
In 1998, the tug was outfitted with an INTERcon coupler system. Although the tug was fitted with a coupler system. Her towing equipment was retained to allow for traditional towing.
In 2020, she was placed out of service and was "laid up" at Tampa, Florida.
In 2021, the tug was acquired by JMB Capital LLC. of Westminster, Maryland. Where she retained her name.
Powered by two, EMD 16-645E diesel engines. Turning two, Padgett Swann, bronze, fixed pitch, propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 6,140 horsepower.
The tug's capacities are 144,238 gallons of fuel.
