Built in 2021 by John Bludworth Shipyard of Corpus Christi, Texas (hull #169) as the Dave B. Fate for Maritime Partners LLC. of Metairie, Louisiana.

The vessel is named for the founder and CEO of Stonebriar Commercial Finance, who, back in 2015, provided Maritime Partners with the financing to acquire the initial boat with which they began their maritime leasing business.

Powered by two Tier III Cummins QSK50M1 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 773 reduction gears. Turning two, 88(in) propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 3,400 horsepower.

The towing equipment consists of two, Patterson, 65 ton, electric winches mounted on the bow. And a Schoelhorn-Albrecht Machine Company 14-inch, double barrel, 100,000-pound static line pull capstan.
