Built in 2023, by Master Boat Builders Incorporated of Coden, Alabama(hull #) as the eWolf for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.

The vessel was first all-electric tug to be built and operated in the United States.

Powered by an ABB integrated electrical propulsion package. With a Corvus 6.2 MWh Orca battery energy storage system. Driving two, 2,100 kW RAMME motors. With two, electrically driven Schottel SRP 430 KE z-drives. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 5,630 horsepower.

The tug's supplemental electrical service is provided by two, 300kW, John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 9,800 gallons of fuel, and 750 gallons of fresh water.

The towing equipment consists of two, electric, 50 horsepower, Markey DEPC-48 render / recovery winches mounted on the bow and stern.
