Built in 1999, by Rodriguez Boat Builders Incorporated of Coden, Alabama (hull #189) as the Tako Challenger for for Lumar Marine Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 2012, the tug was acquried by Lulich Marine Transportation LLC. of Crown Point, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as Victoria Marie.

In 2014, she was acquired by Louisiana Marine Operators LLC. of Broussard, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Miss Jen.

In 2019, the tug was acquired by the Dupre Marine Transportation Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Kylie Dupre.

In 2022, she was acquired by Colonial Towing Incorporated of Savannah, Georgia. Where the tug was renamed as the Captain Rob.

Repowered in 2006, she is driven by three, Caterpilar 3412 diesel engines, with Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.5:1. She is a triple screw towboat, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
