Built in 2005, by Quality Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #1246) and was completed as Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana as the as the Gemini for Horizon Marine LLC. of Houston, Texas.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Cathy Cenac.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Cathy.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA-38 M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
