Built in 2023, by Washburn and Doughty Associates of East Boothbay Harbor, Maine (hull #134) as the Seaway Trident for for the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation of Washington, D.C.

The tug is equipped with a removable steel scraper, on the quarters, to scrape ice off of the two U.S. locks in the Saint Lawrence Seaway.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant, Caterpillar C18 diesel engines. With ice-strengthened Schottel SRP 210 z-drives, turning two, five-bladed 53 (in), fixed pitch Nibral propellers. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 1,320 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, Kohler generator sets. The tug's capacities are 11,300 gallons of fuel, and 790 gallons of water,.

Her towing equipment consists of a single drum, Markey DESMG-18, mounted on her bow. And a single Schoellhorn-Albrecht SA1214-5E-30, capstan mounted on her stern.
