Built in 2023, by Intracoastal Iron Works Incorporated of Bourg, Louisiana (hull #180) as the Wells Porche for Dupre Marine Transportation Company of Houma, Louisiana.

Named for Dupre Marine owner Rory Dupre’s great nephew, Wells.

Powered by two, Tier III-compliant Cummins QSK38-M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG540 reduction gears, turning two 76(in) by 66(in), stainless steel, fixed pitched propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 65 kW, Cummins QSB7-DM generator sets.

The tug's towing equipment consists of two 40 ton Nabrico winches, mounted on the bow. The tug's capacities are 16,500 gallons of fuel, 10,000 gallons of water, and 600 gallons of lube oil.
