Built in 1966, by the Ortis Boat Company of Crown Point, Louisiana (hull#1) as the Loreana Gail for the Ortis Boat Company of Morgan City, Louisiana.

In 1989, the tug was acquired by Diamond Services Corporation of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by P and L Towing and Transportation Incorporated of Miami, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Cassia Leigh.

In 2000, the tug sunk off of the Coast of Miami, Florida. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 800 horsepower.
