Built in 1964, by Hunt Shipyard Incorporated of Kenner, Louisiana (hull #49) as the Miss Kat for Weeks Marine Incorporated of Cranford, New Jersey.

In 2013, the tug was acquired by Stanco Boat Rentals Limited of Freeport, Texas. Where she retained her name.

In 2014, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 340 horsepower.
