Built in 1967, by Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated of Oyster Bay, New York (hull #431) as the Grace Moran for the Moran Towing Corporation of New York, New York.

In 2017, the tug was removed from active service and was "laid up" at Norfolk, Virginia.

In 2022, she was slated to be scrapped at Staten Island, New York.

In 2023, the tug was acquired by Admiral Towing and Salvage LLC. of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as the Grace.

Powered by a single, sixteen cylinder, EMD diesel engine. Turning a single, bronze, fixed pitch, propeller. She is a single screw tug, rated at 2,875 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by a 60kW generator set, and a 40kW generator set. The tug's capacities were 46,230 gallons of fuel.
