Built in 1971, by the Big River Shipbuilding Company of Vicksburg, Mississippi (hull #33) as the Hal D. Miller for the Magnolia Marine Transport Company of Jackson, Mississippi.

In 2009, the Magnolia Marine Transport Company renamed the tug as the Linda Taylor.

In 2020, she was acquired by Big River Shipbuilders Incorporated of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Where she was renamed as the Cecille Hintson.

In 2023. the tug was acquired by Missouri River Towing LLC. of Hermann, Missouri. Where she was renamed as the Faith Geraldine.

Repowered in 2009, she is powered by two, Caterpillar 3512C HD diesel engines. With Haley reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.45:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 3,000 horsepower.
