Built in 1975, by the Rayco Shipbuilders and Repairs Company of Bourg, Louisiana (hull #43) as the Jennifer Stepper Towing Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Clean Gulf Associates of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2005, she was acquired by John W. Stone Oil Distributor LLC. of Gretna, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2024, the tug was acquired by Lower River Ship Service LLC. of Gretna, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Ronnie Miller.

Powered by two, GM 16V-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears at a ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,000 horsepower.
