Built in 1969, by Ditta Shipyard Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana as the Jennie D. for Bennie Ditta of Marrero, Louisiana.

In 1976, the tug was acquired by Buckie Towing Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 1984, she was acquired by Carline's Marine Towing Incorporated Plaquemine, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the CSS Atlanta.

In 1986, the tug was acquired by Three As Towing Incorporated of Venice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Jennie D.

In 1989, she was acquired by Monarch Marine Incorporated of Kingwood, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Capt. Joe Bass.

In 1980, the tug was acquired by Martin Operating Partnership LP. of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Martin Voyager.

In 2006, she was acquired by Laxson Towing Incorporated of Huffman, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Clara Ann.

In 2012, the tug was acquired by Drinnon Marine LLC. of Venice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Hazel Ann.

Powered by two, Series 60 Detroit Diesel diesel engines. With reduction gears at a ratio of 6:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 850 horsepower.
