MABA KELCE

Built in 1965, by the Nashville Bridge Company of Nashville, Tennessee (hull #1737) as the Maba Kelce for the Power Transportation Company of St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1987, the Power Transportation Company was merged into the Mid-America Transportation Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1987, she was acquired by the Mid-South Towing Company of Metropolis, Illinois. Where the tug was renamed as the Jenny S.

In 2002, the Mid-South Towing Company became the TECO Barge Line Incorporated Metropolis, Illinois. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Sally Bromfield.

Rebuilt in 2008, she is powered three two GM 16-645E7B diesel engines. With Falk reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.36:1. Turning three, fixed pitch propellers mounted in kort nozzles. She is a triple screw towboat, rated at 9,120 horsepower.
