Built in 1975, by Collins Shipyard Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana (hull #6) as the Vivan for the Gulf Central Towing Company Incorporated of Cut Off, Louisiana.

In 2020, the tug was acquired by Connor Marine Towing Services LLC. of Galliano, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mr. Rusty.

In 2024, she was acquired by Holden Marine Towing Incorporated of Fernandina Beach, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Sylvie Faye.

Powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.16:1. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,000 horsepower.

The tug's capacities are 12,000 gallons of fuel, and 6,4000 gallons of water.
