Built in 1980, by United Shipbuilding and Repair Company of Vinton, Louisiana as the David Neher for Gulf Intracoastal Marine Incorporated of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Butch Cenac.

In 1994, she was acquired by the Marine Inland Transportation Company of Marrero, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Beverly H.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Henry Marine Service Incorporated of Spanish Fort, Alabama. Where she was renamed as the Linda H.

In 2010, she was acquired by Gulf South Marine Enterprises LLC. of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Cindy R.

In 2024, the tug was acquired by the Ward Towing Company of Deltaville, Virginia. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3412 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.5:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,350 horsepower.
