In 1945, the Republic Oil and Refining Company renamed the tug as the Republic No. 2.
In 1946, she was acquired by A.D. Canulette Jr. of Slidell, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1948, the tug was acquired by the Wood Towing Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where she retained her name.
In 1952, she was acquired by the Curtis Bay Towing Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1958, the company became an affiliate of the Moran Towing Corporation of New York, New York. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1968, she was acquired by the Berg Towing Company of Wilmington, Delaware. Where the tug was renamed as the Tina.
In 1981, the tug was acquired by the Allied Transportation Company of Norfolk, Virginia. Where she was renamed as the Lark.
In 1982, she was acquired Captain's Ship Chandlery Company Incorporated of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she was renamed as the Christa Bliss.
In 1992, the tug was acquired by the Vane Brothers Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she was renamed as the Capt. Jim.
In 1998, she was sold to an undisclosed interest in Texas.
In 2014, the tug went out of documentation. Her current and, or final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 450 horsepower.
