Built in 1971, by 1971 by the Melancon Boat Yard of Larose, Louisiana as the Capt. Woot for W.A. Falgout and Son Boat Rentals Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana.

In 1977, the tug was acquired by Mississippi Delta Towing Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Desiree.

In 1977, she was acquired by United Tugs Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Aunt June.

In 2025, the tug was acquired by Sound Marine Construction and Salvage Incorporated of Nyack, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Hunter G.

Powered by two, GM 8V-92 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.6:1. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 900 horsepower.
