In 2026, the tug was renamed as the Capt. Dennis J. Martin, after long-time employee, Dennis J. Martin.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M2 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 474 reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. Turning two 76(in) by 59(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
The tug's electrical service is provided by two 85 kW Cummins QSB7-DM generators.
