Built in 1970, by Colberg Boat Works Incorporated of Stockton, California (hull #702) as the Colville River for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.
She was the second River class tug constructed for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated.
In 2001, the tug suffered a fire in her accommodation spaces while tied up in the Nome Small Boat Harbor in Nome, Alaska. She was declared a total loss.
In 2003, she was acquired by Faulkner Walsh Constructors of Anchorage, Alaska. Where the tug was renamed as the the Warhorse.
She is a triple screw, square bow, push boat. Rated at 1,095 horsepower.
