Built in 1981, by Terrebonne Shipbuilders Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #26) as the tug was acquired by the Hilton Marine Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana.

In 1997, the tug was acquired by Harvey Gulf International Marine of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the the Harvey Legend.

In 2011, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company. Where the tug was renamed as the Crosby Legend.

In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.
