In 1984, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as the Elsie G. VIII.
In 1991, she was acquired by Tidewater Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the El Carnero Grande.
In 2007, the was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Viking.
Powered by two, Alco 12 251C diesel engines. With Falk 2240 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.075:1. Turning two, 103(in) by 98(in), fixed pitch, propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw tug rated 4,300 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 75kW generator sets. Driven by two, Detroit Diesel 6-71N diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 103,907 gallons of fuel oil, 1,291 gallons of lube oil, 19,055 gallons of ballast, and 8,040 gallons of potable water.
The tug's towing equipment consists of a double drum, INTERcon, DD-225 towing winch. Outfitted with 2,500(ft) of 2.25(in) of towing wire on the primary drum, and 2,000(ft) of 2.25(in) towing wire on the secondary drum.
