Built in 1984, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #376) as the Mabel Colle for the Colle Towing Company Incorporated of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

In 2002, the tug was acquired by McAllister Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the McAllister Tractor.

In 2007, she was acquired by Captain Arthur Fournier of the Fournier Towing and Ship Service Incorporated of Belfast, Maine. Where the tug was renamed as the Fournier Tractor.

Powered by two, EMD 12-645-E2 diesel engines. With Ulstein 900 z drives, turning two, 86 (in) fixed pitch, stainless steel propellers. For a rated at 3,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by one, 40kW generator set driven by a single, Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel engine. And, a 99kW generator set, driven by a single John Deer 6068TA diesel engine.

The deck equipment consists of a NETEC Mooring winch, mounted on the bow. Outfitted with 300(ft) Nuetron 8 line. With an INTERcon SD150-D towing winch mounted on her stern. Outfitted with 1,900(ft) of 2(in) towing wire. Driven by a dedicated single, 4-71 Detroit Diesel engine.

Her capacities are 35,000 gallons of fuel oil, 2,000 gallons of lube oil, 10,000 gallons of ballast, and 1,800 gallons of potable water.
