PACIFIC PRIDE
Built in 1976, by Rysco Shipyard of Blountstown, Florida (hull #29) as the King's Pawn for the King's Marine International Corporation of Gretna, Louisiana.
In 1979, the tug was acquired by the Brazosport Towing Company Incorporated of Freeport, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Noah Smith.
The tug was later acquired by Tweed Towing Incorporated of Richmond, California. Where she was renamed as the Pacific Pride.
In 1991, Tweed Towing was acquired by the Brix Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Its operations were merged into the Brix subsidiary Sea Coast Transportation Incorporated. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2007, the SeaCoast Transportation Company was acquired by K-Sea Transportation Partnership of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the K-Sea Transportation Partnership was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2013, she was acquired by Panamanian Interests. Where the tug was renamed as the D Dog. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 2,500 horsepower.
