Built in 1964, in Port Arthur, Texas as the Esso Fuel Oil for the Esso Shipping Company of Wilmington, Delaware.
She was later renamed as the Fuel Oil
The vessel was later acquired by Boston Fuel Transportation Company of East Boston, Massachusetts (a subsidiary of the Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York.) Where she was renamed as TB-146.
In 2001, the vessel went out of documentation. And, she was "laid up" at Boston Towing and Transportation Company's Border Street Yard in East Boston, Massachusetts.
In 2010, the unit was moved to Reinauer Transportation's facility at Erie Basin in Brooklyn, New York where she was "laid up."
In 2011, she was scrapped at SENESCO Marine Incorporated in North Kingston, Rhode Island.
