Built in 1967, by Equitable Equipment Incorporated of Madisonville, Louisiana as the Buchanan 10 for Buchanan Marine Limited Partnership Incorporated of New Haven, Connecticut.

In 2014, the tug was phased out of active service. And was "laid up" at Feeney's Shipyard in Kingston, New York.

In 2023, the tug was scrapped.

She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
