Built in 1980, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #362) as the J.H. Colle for the Colle Towing Company Incorporated of Pascagoula, Mississippi.
In 2008, the tug acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Quest.
In 2020, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.
In 2022, the tug was placed back into active service.
Powered by two, GM 16V 149 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 3,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 28,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 5,000 gallons of potable water.
