Built in 1979, by Collins Seafood Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana as the Lady Carole for Jefferson Marine Incorporated of Harvey, Louisiana.
In 1995, the tug was acquired by Inland Marine Services Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mr. Shane.
In 2004, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Delta Hawk.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.
In 2015, she was phased out active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.
Powered by two, GM 12-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning two, 60(in) by 44(in) by 5(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 900 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two 30kW/125 amp generators, driven by two GM 3-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities were 8,600 gallons of fuel oil, 150 gallons of lube oil, and 1,650 gallons of potable water.
The tug's towing equipment consisted of a single drum, 20 ton Parker, worm gear, towing winch.
