Built in 1951, by Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated of Oyster Bay, New York (hull #338) as the Neptune for the R.J. Casho Marine Corporation of Wilmington, Delaware.
In 1994, the tug was acquired by the BayGulf Trading Corporation of Norfolk, Virginia. Where tug tug retained her name.
In 2004, the BayGulf Trading Corporation was acquired by K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Where she was renamed as the Bali Sea.
In 2005, she was acquired by Island Barge Incorporated of Hudson, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as the Charleston.
In 2010, the tug was acquired by Tucker Roy Marine Towing and Salvage Incorporated of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as the Henri.
In 2014, she went out of documentation. The tug was last reported as "laid up" at Tucker Roy Marine Towing and Salvage's yard in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,090 horsepower.
