Built in 1980, by DH and D Iron Works Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana (hull #5) as the Bunny Bordelon for Bordelon Brothers Towing Company Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Timmy Guidry.

In 2012, she was acquired by J. Sercovich Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM V-12 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two 30kW generators. The tug's capacities are 17,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 28,000 gallons of potable water.
