Built in 1977, by the Louis G. Ortis Boat Company of Krotz Springs, Louisiana as the Tommy Crosby for Crosby Marine Services of Golden Meadow, Louisiana.

In 1996, the tug was acquired by an individual named Jerry Vaughn of Amelia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Rod Sonntag.

The tug was later sold, where she was renamed as the Lady Cheryl. And, then as the Hannah Corrine.

In 1999, she was acquired by Settoon Marine Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Hannah C. Settoon.

In 2006, Settoon Marine Incorporated renamed the tug as the Albert J. Settoon.

In 2010, the tug was acquired by the D and L Salvage Company of Abbeville, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Laura Anne.

She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 900 horsepower.
