Built in 1996, by the Trinity Marine Group of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #4168) as the Kinsman Eagle II for the Bay Transportation Company of Tampa, Florida.
In 1996, the tug was chartered by Captain Arthur Fournier of the Portland Tugboat and Shipdocking Company of Portland, Maine. Where she retained her name.
In 1997, she was returned to the the Bay Transportation Company of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1998, the Bay Transportation Company was acquired by Hvide Marine Incorporated of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2000, Hvide Marine Incorporated was acquired by Seabulk Towing Services Incorporated of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Eagle II.
In 2002, she was chartered by the SeaRiver Maritime Company of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the S/R Angel Island.
In 2007, the tug was acquired by Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where the tug was renamed as the Resolute.
In 2007, she was leased to Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2012, she was acquired by the Coos Bay Towboat Company of Coos Bay, Oregon. Where the tug was renamed as the Oregon Escort.
In 2013, the Coos Bay Towboat Company renamed the tug as the George W.
In 2019, the Coos Bay Towboat Company renamed the tug as the Oregon Escort.
Powered by two, six cylinder, Wartsila 6R32E diesel engines. With a Aquamaster z-drives. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 6,700 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 170kW generator set. The tug's capacities are 81,893 gallons of fuel, and 40,154 gallons of ballast.
