In 1978, the Fonteneau and Smith Boat Company was acquired by Newpark Marine Services of The Woodlands, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Newpark Sunlight.
In 1983, she was acquired by the Gulf Fleet Marine Corporation of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Gulf Thunder.
In 1985, Zapata Marine Service, Gulf Fleet Marine Incorporated, and Jackson Marine Services merged to form Zapata Gulf Marine Service Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1992, Zapata Gulf Marine Incorporated merged with Tidewater Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1995, she was acquired by Arthur Fournier of the Portland Tugboat and Shipdocking Company of Portland, Maine. Where she was renamed as the Escort.
In 1998, the tug acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mighty Eagle.
In 2001, the tug was acquired by the Falgout Brothers Company, a subsidy of Global Towing Services Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Saidy.
In 2001, Global Towing Services Incorporated renamed the tug as the Kelly Falgout.
In 2001, the tug was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Delta Power.
In 2011, the Delta Towing Company was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2020, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.
Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, Alco,251F diesel engines. With WAV 3400 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.05:1. Turning two, 138(in) by 84(in), four bladed, stainless steel propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 8,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM V871 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 143,275 gallons of fuel,10,000 gallons of potable water, and 2,800 gallons of lube oil.
The tug's towing gear consists of a double drum, INTERcon DD225 towing winch. Outfitted with 2,200(ft) of 2(in) towing wire the primary drum. And, 1,300(ft) of 1(in) towing wire on the secondary drum.
