Built in 1977, by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana (hull #324) as the Miss Beatrice.
The tug was then acquired by G and B Marine of Beaumont, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Capt. L. Gambarella.
She was later sold, where she was renamed as the Flying Eagle.
The tug was eventually acquired by Delta Towing of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Delta Cajun.
She was then acquired by Bay Transportation of Norfolk, Virginia. Where the tug was renamed as the Delta. However, the tug was later renamed as the Cajun.
The tug is twin screw, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
