LAMCO IV

Built in 1977, by McDermott Shipyard Incorporated of Amelia, Louisiana (hull #232) as the Lamco IV for the Louisiana Marine Company of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1988, the tug was acquired by the Young Brothers Company of Honolulu, Hawaii. Where she was renamed as the Manuokekai.

In 2013, the Hawaiian Tug and Barge Company, and the Young Brothers Company. Were absorbed into the Foss Marine Holdings Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, EMD-16-645-E6 diesel engines. Turning two, cast steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated 3,900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 75kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 126,538 gallons of fuel.

Her deck equipment consists of an INTERcon towing winch. Outfitted with 2,500(ft) of 2(in) towing wire.
