Built in 1945, by the Everett Pacific Shipbuilding Company of Everett, Washington (hull #71) as the YTL-712 for the United States Navy.

The tug was later acquired by Crowley Marine Services of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Rescue.

She was eventually acquired by Captain Ron Greger of Napa, California. Where the tug retained her name.

Her current and or final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 600 horsepower.
