Built in 1886, by the Neafie and Levy Shipbuilding Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as the Minerva for Donaldson Towing and Lightering Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

In 1945, the tug was acquired by the Interstate Oil Transportation Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Where she retained her name.

In 1951, she went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was powered by a single, Enterprise diesel engine. Turning a single, cast steel, fixed pitch propeller. She was a single screw tug, rated at 200 horsepower.
