Built in 2011, by Trinity Marine Incorporated of Gulfport, Mississippi (hull #TYO10022L112) as the Signet Constellation for the Signet Maritime Corporation of Houston, Texas.

The tug was designed by Robert Allen Ltd. of Vancouver, British Columbia. For the Signet Maritime Corporation of Houston, Texas.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant Caterpillar C175-16 diesel engines. With two Rolls Royce US255 controllable pitch z-drives. Outfitted with 110.2(in) 2,800(mm), four bladed, NIBRAL propellers. For a rated 6,834 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by three, 99kW, John Deere 6068TFM76 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 64,565 gallons of fuel, 4,461 gallons of potable water, 700 gallons of lube oil, 1,356 gallons of dirty oil storage, and 31,800 gallons of ballast.

The towing gear consists of 200 horsepower double drum, Markey electric DESDF-48 winch. Outfitted with 600(ft) of 3(in) Samson Saturn 12 HMPE hawser. Mounted on the bow, with a Burrard Iron Works electric capstan mounted on her stern.

Her firefighting equipment consists of two, 250 by 350 SFP FFS, fire Pumps. Driven off of the front end of the main engines, feeding two FFS 1200(lbs) fire monitors.
