Built in 2010, by G and S Marine Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #010GS) as the Crystal Cutler for the Poling-Cutler Marine Transportation Company of Freehold, New Jersey.
The tug was designed by naval architect Frank Basile of Entech and Associates of Houma, Louisiana for the Poling-Cutler Marine Transportation Company.
Powered by two, Cummins QSK-19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG-5222DC reduction gears. Turning two, 67(in) stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug rated at 1,500 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 50kW, John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 9,400 gallons of fuel, and 3,065 gallons of potable water.
The towing equipment consists of a single drum, JonRie 500 towing winch. Outfitted with 1,700(ft) of stainless steel, towing wire.
