Built in 1946, by Matton Shipyard Incorporated of Cohoes, New York (hull #296) as the Margaret Matton for Matton Shipyard Incorporated of Cohoes, New York.

In 1958, the tug acquired by the Port Everglades Towing Company of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Fort Lauderdale.

In 1968, she was acquired by the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York. Where she was renamed as the Evening Light.

In 1978, the tug was acquired by the Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as the Hudson.

In 1990, she transferred to the Boston Towing and Transportation Company (a subsidiary of the Reinauer Transportation Company of Staten Island, New York.) Where the tug retained her name.

In 2005, the tug was acquired by Harmony Marine Enterprises of Matawan, New Jersey. Where she was renamed as the Chyanne Rose

In 2005, the tug foundered. After she was salvaged, the tug was scrapped. She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
