Built in 1973, by Universal Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana as the Fidalgo.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by the Padilla Tug Company Incorporated of Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Where she retained her name.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Sea Coast Transportation Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2007, Sea Coast Transportation Company was acquired by K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2011, the K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2014, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and, or final disposition is unknown. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,400 horsepower.
