RAMPART

Built in 1964, by the Albina Engine and Machine Works of Portland, Oregon as the Rampart for Alaska Railroad Corporation of Anchorage, Alaska.

In 1980, the tug was acquired by Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where she retained her name.

She was the first River class tug to enter service for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated.

In 2017 she was phased out of active service, and laid up.

The tug is a twin screw, square bow, push boat, rated at 900 horsepower.
