EUGENE F. MORAN (1942)

Built in 1942, by Levingston Shipbuilding of Orange, Texas (hull #217) as the BAT-3 for the United States Navy.

In 1942, she was transferred to the British Royal Navy. Where the tug was redesignated as the HMS Favorite (BAT-3).

In 1946, she was acquired by the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Eugene F. Moran.

In 1947, the tug was acquired by Portuguese Interests where she was renamed as the Monsanto. Her current, and, or, final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,900 horsepower.
