Construction was begun in 2010, by Sea Boats Incorporated of Fall River, Massachusetts (hull #9) for Sea Boats Incorporated of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
However, in 2011 the company's three main operating units that where operated by Sea Boats Incorporated. Were acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Although the company was not acquired by the Kirby Corporation.
After the sale SeaBoats Incorporated ceased operations, and the incomplete hull remained on shore at SeaBoats Incorporated's property in Fall River, Massachusetts.
